Giving

We want to be a generous people, providing the church with the resources to do things with excellence, as well as to demonstrate God’s generosity outside this church in what we give away. The Bible clearly teaches the principle of giving, and money is just one demonstration of commitment to the work and ministry of the church to which we belong.

Whether tithing as defined in the Old Testament (10% of gross income), or giving above and beyond this, in this age of grace; the Bible says that “each [person] should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). When it comes to giving, tithing to a believer should be their minimum.

Your giving can be  by cheque, cash, direct debit or Barclays Pingit. For Barclays Pingit payments use shortcode: PINGITRPQ501. This can also be used as a QR reference. For the rest, if possible please use KCC envelope for your giving or you can set up a standing order. If you are a tax payer and have not signed our gift aid form - please feel free to fill in the gift aid section of our envelope which can be provided by our stewards during our church service. For any financial queries please contact our Church office personnel: Graham York.

Having said the above; more importantly the best gift one can ever offer at the altar of the Lord is yourself. You are more valuable than any other kind of gift. So we value you & your service in the house of God more than anything else you can give materially.
